DESCRIPTION:Love to sing? We'd love to have you join us in the East Alabama Civic Chorale for our exciting 2026-2027 concert season! We'll perform three public concerts featuring the music of John Rutter\, William Dawson\, Elaine Hagenberg\, J. S. Bach\, Rodgers and Hammerstein\, Rosephanye Powell\, Henry Purcell\, Alice Parker\, and more. Weekly rehearsals are every Tuesday at the Southside Center for the Arts from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Our motto is Excellence\, Artistry\, Creativity\, and Community.We believe East Alabama is full of those who love to sing and are just looking for the right opportunity. No auditions are required\, just bring your choral experience\, a love of music-making\, and a desire to sing with others. For over 40 years\, choral musicians from Auburn\, Opelika\, Lee and surrounding counties\, and even West Georgia have called the East Alabama Civic Chorale home.Our Fall season begins August 25th. New members are welcome to join through September 8th. We look forward to singing with you soon!
