The Opelika Chamber, in partnership with the League of Women Voters of East Alabama, is hosting "Conversations With Your Candidates" on Tuesday, August 12th from 5:30–8:00PM at the Opelika Center for the Performing Arts (1700 Lafayette Parkway, Opelika, AL). 

5:30–6:30PM: Candidate Tabling
Meet the candidates one-on-one! Drop by each candidate’s table to introduce yourself, ask questions, and learn about their platforms in an informal, come-and-go setting.

6:30-8PM: Candidate Presentations
Hear directly from each candidate as they share who they are, their priorities if elected, and their goals and vision for their ward or the city. Each candidate will have up to four minutes to speak. No live questions will be asked during this portion, but citizens are encouraged to submit questions ahead of time my emailing mackenzie@opelikachamber.com to be shared with candidates before the event.

This event is free, open to the public, and will be live streamed by the Opelika Chamber.
