Job Shadow Day 2026 is a day for students at Opelika High School to spend time with a local business learning about the day-to-day operations of the business and talking with community and career professionals. This event, scheduled for Friday, January 30, 2026, is open to juniors and seniors who are in good standing, can provide their own transportation to and from a host site, and are serious about exploring career options. Any business who is interested in helping to develop the future workforce is welcome to register. The business can choose the number of students to host and the timeframe, whether that be for just a few hours or the whole day. The purpose of the event is to connect students with local businesses and to explore career opportunities.
